Rani Mukherjee has all her hopes set on Anurag Kashyap’s forthcoming ‘Aiyya’ to restore her sinking career. The movie has Rani playing a Marathi girl who finds a person desirable because he smells good. She stars opposite south star Prithvi Raj and director Sachin Kundalkar is very confident in regards to the chemistry between the two.
“I don’t know for the way a few years I USED TO BE seeking to work along with her (Rani). Luckily this script excited her. So far as the lead actor was concerned, one among my friends suggested Prithvi’s name,” Kundalkar said adding, “Prithvi is an excellent actor and both are looking very fresh within the film.”
Rani has as many as three item numbers within the film. “The film is a mix of reality and dream and Rani could be seen doing three item songs in her dream within the film. Amit Trivedi has composed six songs for the film and 3 of them could be Rani’s item songs,” explains Kundalkar.
Kunadalkar is all praises for Rani’s charms and professional attitude. “Rani could be very hardworking. She had passed through language training program before starting the film. She was a whole Marathi girl at the sets,” he said.
