Aamir hopes Ferrari Ki Sawaari beats 3 Idiots

Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani starrer Ferrari Ki Sawari hits the theatres Friday and Aamir Khan hopes thon the film does so well at the box office that it beats the success in their movie 3 Idiots. "I'M here to pray all of the team. I'M sure they have got made a fair film and Sharman is a pleasant actor and our wishes are with them. We would like everyone who watched 3 Idiots to look at Ferrari Ki Sawaari also. We want that this film goes far beyond 3 Idiots," the 47-year-old said here Thursday on the premiere of the film.

Ferrari Ki Sawaari is Rajesh Mapuskar's directorial debut and was produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

Rajkumar Hirani, who has edited the film, stated that the intention was to make a movie for less than Rs.100 crore.

"The film has not been made with the intention of crossing the Rs.100 crore mark. If that have been our intention, we might has been making no less than one film a year. I take three years to make a movie. If money was the intention, then once a year we'd has been making two films," said Hirani.

Ferrari Ki Sawaari tells the tale of a father who will visit any length to fulfil his son's dream of turning into a cricketer.
