Tom Cruise, who shot to fame with 1986 film Top Gun, says he would like to be part of the sequel.
The 49-year-old said he's working with director Tony Scott and producer Jerry Bruckheimer on plans for prime Gun 2, reported Access Hollywood. "We're engaged on it. We'll see what happens, if I WILL BE ABLE TO work out the script and we get it. It might be fun coming into those jets. I WOULD LIKE to get in those jets!" he said.
With nearly 40 films under his belt, Cruise said he couldn't possibly pick a movie that best represented "the true Tom". "THAT MAY BE too difficult. That's like asking which one, you know, is your favourite child! I mean, each one, I put such a lot into them," he said. The actor will next be seen playing a rockstar in Rock Of Ages.
