After playing Tiger in Ek Tha Tiger, Salman Khan will undergo a makeover for his role in Sohail Khan's Sher Khan. And guess what? The actor is prepared to play a superhero with special powers for the primary time in his career, reports Mumbai Mirror.
The actor will reportedly play a pathan who sports shoulder-length hair.
Writer Rumi Jaffery tells the tabloid that the film "features Salman in a glance he hasn't ever tried before."
"Though he has had an important fan following among kids, none of Salmanbhai's films was specially targeted at children. Dilip Shukla (who's also writing Dabangg 2) and that i are designing bhai's first film geared toward the young viewers," added Rumi.
But the actor will play the superhero bit differently. "HE'S GOING TO be a hero that children can identify with. The action scenes shouldn't have him beating up a dozen goons single-handedly. He has done this stuff repeatedly before," Rumi was quoted by the tabloid.
Interestingly a year back Salman was not game for superhero roles. Looks as if he has changed his mind now. "IT'S NOT THAT I AM doing a superhero film. I DO NOT need to be bitten by makdi. I DO NOT need to be a spider man. I DO NOT wish to wear red underwear from outside. I NEED to be 'Sal man'," Salman had said earlier.
The leading lady is yet to be finalised. So who'll play the Sherni?
