After SRK, it's Ranbir turn to stand a Rajasthan court's wrath for smoking in public. The actor have been summoned on June 26 by a Udaipur court for smoking at the sets of his upcoming film Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, reports NDTV. The actor could be booked for violating Section 5 of the Rajasthan Prevention of Smoking Act.
Udaipur resident Harish Vaishnav filed the complaint against the actor after he spotted pictures of the actor smoking at the movie sets, consistent with the television channel.
The pictures had appeared in local newspapers.
According to The Rajasthan Prevention of Smoking Act, if an individual is located guilty of smoking in public places, he will also be sentenced to a maximum imprisonment of six months or a good of Rs. 200.
Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani is being directed by Get up Sid director Ayan Mukherjee and likewise stars Deepika Padukone.
