Sallu’s girl resurfaces as Sonu Sood’s item!

By Hindustan Times

Actor Hazel Keech who briefly glided by the name Rose Dawn, and likewise starred in Bodyguard (2011) alongside actor Salman Khan, will soon be seen in an item number.

The song — Aa Aante Amalapuram is part of upcoming film Maximum, by filmmaker Kabir Kaushik, which also stars actors Naseeruddin Shah and Sonu Sood.

When asked where she have been hiding for the last 10 months, Hazel says, “There were acting offers post Bodyguard, but nothing that I ACTUALLY liked. While I USED TO BE waiting, I USED TO BE approached by Sonu Sood to try this item song. In the beginning I USED TO BE hesitant, but if I heard the song, I loved it. I told Salman concerning the offer and he told me to head ahead and do it only for the thrill of it. And that’s what I’ve done.”

The British beauty adds, “I’m a trained dancer and i've done popular music videos like Kahin Pe Nigahen up to now but I’ve not considered myself as an item girl. Even while growing up within the UK, I followed Bollywood closely and feature admired Madhuri Dixit’s moves. I USED TO BE dead against doing an item song only for the sake of being provocative.”

According to the 25-year-old, the song is vital to the plot of the film. “That’s why I’m in it!” she says. Reportedly, Aa Aante Amalapuram became a bone of contention between several stars, and Sonu paid a hefty amount to get the rights. The song has managed to draw a large fan following and has also gone viral on video sharing websites. Sources say that the song was originally imagined to be picturised on actor Tabu.
