Farah wants Sunita Williams to observe Joker - in space!

By Hindustan Times

Filmmaker Farah Khan goes out of her way, literally, to advertise her home production Joker in a novel way. She desires to make sure that Indian-American astronaut Sunita Williams to observe the movie, in line with aliens, while in space. The Joker team seems too ambitious about it.

"We try to turn( the movie to Williams), but I DON'T BELIEVE we're going to get permission. There are lot of red tapes serious about that. UTV was looking to get it up since the movie is set UFOs and space," Farah said here.

"They wanted it to be up there, but I BELIEVE one has to take permission a year upfront. So the method is on," she added.

According to Farah, whose husband Shirish Kunder has directed the Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha-starrer, the team is in talks with officials of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to peer if it may be made possible for Williams to look at the film.

Williams is currently on her second space odyssey to the International Space Station.
