When asked about Salman-Katrina's tiff over the latter's outfit, Ek Tha Tiger director Kabir Khan confirmed that the lead pair did disagree over Katrina's costume in a song, reports Mumbai Mirror.
“Katrina and Salman return far. He was very thinking about their scenes together and her costumes. They've a definite equation. Even Salman seeks her opinion. But yes, there has been an incident where they disagreed over Katrina’s costume within the song. It was over a selected cut within the black blouse she has worn with a yellow skirt,” Kabir Khan told the tabloid.
On Salman's working style
“Salman reports at the sets on his own time. He doesn't start his day early. And he was clear about it before we went on floors. But once he's at the sets, he's all yours till you wrap up. So well, you simply need to plan your day with him intelligently,” the director explains to the tabloid.
On teething issues with Salman
“I may be honest. It took time for Salman and me to return at the same page. There have been teething issues on how we glance on the scenes and his character,” Kabir Khan was quoted by the tabloid.
While Kabir Khan says that it was a disagreement over the outfit, a magazine had earlier reported that Salman beat up Katrina for wearing a "figure hugging, cleavage-revealing dress that showed an excessive amount of skin."

"Salman was supposedly sitting out at the set, looking ahead to his heroine to emerge from her vanity van. When she did, it was allegedly in a figurehugging, cleavage-revealing dress that showed an excessive amount of skin. Or so Salman is alleged to have felt. But worse was apparently yet to come," said the duvet story within the July issue of Cineblitz.
Katrina's friend rubbished the story
"This is totally untrue. Salman and Katrina chose to work within the same film because there has been no animosity between them. They got along famously throughout the Dublin and the Istanbul schedules. Salman cares for Katrina so much. She is like family," a pal told Mumbai Mirror.
"People make up a large number of stories. Only because they couldn't sustain to their commitment of constructing an appearance at an awards function, rumours started flying," she added.
"How did the magazine know what happened inside Katrina's vanity when she had locked it? Kareena visiting her friend Salman doesn't necessarily should be instigated by a phone call from his co-star," the friend told the tabloid.
"Kat has many projects lined up. She doesn't have time for silly rumours generated by the media. In truth she needed to turn down Karan Johar's offer of Dostana 2 because she couldn't adjust her dates," the friend further added.
