Jism 2 can be my Arth, says Pooja Bhatt

By Hindustan Times

Actress-turned-director Pooja Bhatt says what Arth was for her father Mahesh Bhatt, Jism2 could be at the same lines for her. "I FEEL and hope that Jism 2 can be my Arth. This can be a coincidence that i'm on the same stage like my father. Even he had four films like Naya Daur, Manzilein Aur Bhi Hain and others before Arth but none of them did well," Pooja told reporters here last night, on the promotional event of Jism 2.

Pooja made her directorial debut in 2004 with John Abraham and Udita Goswami-starrer Paap, and then she directed Holiday, Dhokha and Kajraa Re, all bombing on the box office.

"I think somewhere what's special about 'Arth' is that at last the girl makes a call of to not be with the husband and never be with the sweetheart. In 'Jism 2', Izna (Sunny Leone) is a porn star and by the tip she makes a decision that redeems her character. So we're talking about choices and that's the similarity between the 2 movies," she said.

This time the 40-year-old director is hopeful that Jism 2 will do well, way to the trailers and music.

"I think I'M at a stage where as a director I'VE got nothing to lose as I'VE had four flops behind me. I'VE a brand (Jism) about which there's excitement and interest some of the public. The film is asking good, music is liked by all," Pooja said.

The Bhatt camp has offered Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone her first break in Bollywood with erotic thriller 'Jism 2'.
