RGV making Bhoot sequel with a six-year-old

Director Ram Gopal Varma, who has established himself within the horror films department, wields the megaphone again for the sequel to his 2003 film, Bhoot.

However, this time around he appears to be concentrating more on content and never at the stars. He has signed a comparatively unknown six-year-old girl, Alayna, because the lead of his film.

Confirming the news, RGV says, “A six-year-old girl named Alayna is playing the protagonist and Manisha Koirala could be playing her mother.” Produced by Nitin Manmohan, the sequel was presupposed to be directed by Vikram Bhatt. However, Vikram walked out as he felt that for the reason that original film belonged to RGV, he should direct the sequel of as well.

RGV, who has made horror movies like Raat (1992), Bhoot (2003), Phoonk (2008) and Phoonk 2 (2010) before, is shooting the brand new film in 3D. Ram says, “For the primary time I'M creating a film in 3D, so there may be distinctive shooting style,” says RGV.

The director rubbishes reports that the film was wrapped up in 14 days, which might have made it the primary film that was completed so fast. “It’s not true. That was just first schedule. We're doing the remainder of the shooting next month,” the director says.

The original Bhoot was a multi-starrer with actors Ajay Devgn, Urmila Matondkar, Nana Patekar and Rekha among others.
