Riteish Deshmukh includes Marathi in Kya Superkool...

By Hindustan Times

Riteish Deshmukh is proud to be Maharastrian and has shown his love for his home state in his latest film. When the Kya Superkool Hai Hum makers were engaged on a brand new version of Shilpa Shetty’s fa.mous item number ‘Main aayi hoon UP, Bihar lootne’, Riteish asked Balaji Films to extend
the song to include Maharashtra in it.

“Riteish was very fascinated with the song from the start. He spontaneously decided that Maharashtra also needs to be a part of the brand new song,” says an insider from the film’s unit. To make sure the authenticity of the song, Riteish even turned singer (for the primary time) and in addition wrote the Marathi lyrics for it.

“Being a real son of the soil, he sat with the composers, the Meet brothers Anjaan-Ankit, and worked at the Marathi a part of the song himself. After Daler Mehendi and Sukhwinder Singh completed the track, he took over the Marathi portion,” says the insider. As a result, the unique song from Shool (1999) have been reworked quite a bit.

“When Riteish mentioned it to Balaji, everyone liked the idea, because it only broadened the appeal of the song. And once it comes out, we're sure audiences will love it,” adds the insider. When contacted, Tanuj Garg, CEO of Balaji Films confirms, “The UP-Bihar track shows us a brand new dimension of Riteish. He has done an incredible job in bringing the track from UP and Bihar to Maharashtra. We've got a sure-shot chartbuster on our hands.”
