Trust Ekta Kapoor to be brazen. A COUPLE OF days ago, the film producer posted a slightly shocking status message on her BlackBerry Messenger: ‘Damaged Psycho + Dumb Bimbo = Heroine.’ And although many (including sections of the media) felt that she was regarding Kareena Kapoor’s next — Madhur Bhandarkar’s film, Heroine — we learn that wasn’t the case. The message was directed towards Neha Sharma, who stars in Ekta’s next, Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum, at the side of Tusshar Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh.

“Ekta isn’t proud of Neha’s behaviour. She is uninterested in her diva-esque tantrums. So, she decided to talk her mind on a standing message. That’s why she posted such an update. Why would Ekta target Bebo?” says an insider with reference to Ekta.
Interestingly, we also hear that Ekta has banned Neha — in the meanwhile — from participating in her film’s promotions. Although it’s been suggested that Ekta isn’t pleased with Bebo for pulling out of 2 of her films (Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2 and the Karan Johar’s co-production), sources say Ekta isn’t hitting out at her.
Ekta, who's in Dubai, fumes when quizzed at the subject: “The status message was publish on an excessively private sphere. Plus, it was meant for an actress who was giving me a difficult time for some time now. Kareena and that i share a perfect rapport, and to make such assumptions is solely disgusting.”
