Irrfan's chopped scene from Amazing Spider-Man upsets fans

By Hindustan Times

Irrfan fans are upset. One of the most sequences featuring the Indian actor within the Amazing Spider-Man has been snipped from the overall cut of the film.

Scenes akin to the only where the 49-year-old is carrying a gun and is attacked in a lab by the villain, The Lizard, don't seem to be there within the movie.

The audiences only get to look them face off within the scene at the bridge, where Irrfan is in a car when he's attacked by the mutant reptile.

After this, his character, Dr Ratha, disappears from the movie and not using a trace. And his sudden disappearance from the movie has left fans believing that he could return within the sequel.

However, director Marc Webb told us over the telephone from Los Angeles, “You’ll must see. I can’t answer that right now.”

That isn't all. There's a variation within the actor’s voice within the Hindi-dubbed version in addition. Such a lot so, that audiences are convinced that the voice is someone else’s. Sources on the subject of the actor claim that Irrfan didn’t dub for the Hindi version.

Another source adds, “Irrfan desired to watch the movie before dubbing for its Hindi version. But he was busy shooting in Gujarat and by the point he watched it, the dubbing were sorted. So he missed dubbing in Hindi.”

Irrfan didn’t take our calls or reply to our messages, and Sony Pictures Entertainment, the distributors of the film, also remained unavailable for comments.
