Kya Super Kool Hain Hum seems to have everything that would offend family audience. In fact, the makers are already prepared for bad reviews of the film. Don't think us? Producer Ekta Kapoor tells us that she's planning to flaunt all of the bad reviews in a large way. Sounds believable, as Ekta is obvious about her strategy for the film from day one - take a dig at yourself before people do, expect protests before they really begin. The second one trailer of the film takes to the air with people protesting concerning the content of the film and burning movie posters.
After Censors chopped three scenes from the theatrical trailer of Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum, Ekta Kapoor went ahead with the web launch of the second one A-rated trailer of the film.
Kya super kool"I think censors have numerous pressure. Audience isn't homogeneous and we need to cater to varied thought processses. I DO NOT blame censors as they have got a large number of pressure. But on the same time, we won't be pushed back in our expression of thought and we are hoping censors understand that."
Ekta in reality thinks that online is the most productive medium to advertise a film because it targets younger generation. "Online is the most important medium. Everyone knows how big it may get for promotion. It caters to a tender audience. Online is the most efficient medium to take a look at every bit of knowledge on the web. And that i think this A-promo is fun, naughty and the truth that I went ahead with the net launch of the promo shows how much I THINK within the medium."
Ekta Kapoor is kicked in regards to the film's dialogues that experience become a rage. "THEY HAVE GOT even made fun of me." She adds, "IN A SINGLE of the scenes, a personality says, 'Main Tiger', another says 'Main Ekta' and the nature goes directly to add, 'Together, we're Ek Tha Tiger'."
But the woman was under no circumstances amused by a dialogue that takes a dig at actors Nargis Fakhri and Diana Penty.
In a scene, actor Tusshar Kapoor tells Riteish Deshmukh that "Pehle ki heroines ke naam hote the Madhubala, Waheeda Rahman, aur ab dekho Penty, Fakhri" (Earlier heroines had names like Madhubala and Waheeda Rehman, but now see names are Penty, Fakhri).
"I'm seeking to get the dialogue out of the film," says Ekta.
Kya Super Kool Hain Hum releases on July 27.
