Mika turns judge for TV show

By Hindustan Times

The Great Indian Laughter Challenge is back, though in a brand new avatar. The show will now be launched as Laugh India Laugh at the channel Life Ok.

Singer Mika Singh was signed on as some of the judges at the comedy show. For the opposite spot, the channel is thinking about Shekhar Suman, Boman Irani, Riteish Deshmukh and cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu.

A source reveals, “The show can have fresh talent and never seasoned comedians competing. Even the judges might open some episodes with their acts. The show can have public voting to boot. To be aired on weekends, this primetime laugh-a-thon is tentatively scheduled to move on air within the second 1/2 July.”

The Great Indian Laughter Challenge was a stand-up comedy show that ran for four seasons on Star One. The show was judged by Shekhar Suman and Sidhu, whose humorous Sidhu-isms became quite famous.
