Director Zoya Akhtar has dismissed rumours that she is planning to shoot a documentary to commemorate 100 years of Indian cinema. However, she had dropped a touch that she has something in store for the occasion. "No, IT'S NOT THAT I AM creating a documentary and it's something that's going to be
announced over the weekend. It is not my production so I WILL NOT speak about it till it comes out," the 39-year-old said here.
There were reports that Zoya is about to begin shooting for a documentary titled Sheila Ki Jawaani for you to also star actress Katrina Kaif in a cameo.
It was supposedly the tale of a boy who loves item numbers and desires to satisfy Sheila in truth. Katrina had, apparently, even given her nod for the documentary.
Indian cinema will complete a century since its first full-length feature film Raja Harishchandra was made in 1913. A silent movie, it was directed and produced by Dadasaheb Phalke, after whom the distinguished Dadasaheb Phalke Award is named.
