Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar was in for a surprise when actress Kareena Kapoor decided to celebrate his birthday at the sets of Heroine.
While dubbing for the film, Kareena surprised Bhandakar with a birthday cake and likewise gathered all of the crew members to pray the director on his special day.
"I am either working or out on a family trip on my birthday. It was very sweet of Bebo (Kareena) to provide me this birthday surprise," said Bhandarkar, who turned 43 Sunday.
Produced by UTV Films and Bhandarkar Production, Heroine will release on September 21.
