Reviving RK banner? I didn’t know! says Karisma Kapoor

By Hindustan Times

A few days back, there have been media reports of Ranbir Kapoor gearing as much as revive the distinguished banner, RK Films. However, that topic doesn’t appear to have arise at a Kapoor family dinner. When Karisma Kapoor was asked, she seemed completely blind to the scoop. “I didn’t know that it is
being revived. I’m more than pleased about that,” says the actor, who has now permanently shifted back to Mumbai from Delhi.

When asked if she’d work under the banner if a possibility came along, she says, “If there may be any roughly film where I WILL BE ABLE TO fit in, I CAN surely do it.”

However, where Karisma’s acting career is concerned, her comeback film — director Vikram Bhatt’s 3D horror, Dangerous Ishq (2012) —wasn’t much to write down home about. However, the Raja Hindustani (1996) star is sure that she will still draw audiences: “The fate of a movie doesn’t matter to me today. I’m not within the rat race, but I WILL still choose the movie I NEED to behave within the. box-office collections don’t matter in any respect; your fans wish to see you anyway. It’s a really perfect space to be in,” says Karisma.

She is bound that the outlook is similar with the opposite married female actors coming round again — the likes of Madhuri Dixit, Sridevi, Raveena Tandon. “We obviously have a fan following, so we recommend international brands. Now it’s all about doing an even film,” she says.

So, what’s next for her? “I’m taking it easy, reading a couple of scripts. Maybe I’ll do a film next year. I haven’t selected anything yet,” says Karisma.
