Salman's Ek Tha Tiger to have a sequel?

By Hindustan Times

After taking a good looking start on the box-office, Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger is prepared for a sequel. The Salman-Katrina starrer has earned over Rs. 50 crore thus far and is predicted to wreck more records.

Buzz is thon the production company has registered two titles Ek Hai Tiger and Ek Rahega Tiger for the part 2 of the flick, reports Mid Day.

If all goes well, the tiger saga will continue and so its successful run on the box office.

A roaring success
Meanwhile the film is breaking records on the box office. The film that amassed over Rs. 30 crore on day 1, now stands at about Rs. 48.92 crore.

"After shattering every record possible to shreds Ek Tha Tiger moved to its 2nd day. As per early estimates the movie would have made 16 Crores on it's Day 2 at the Indian Box Office. Ek Tha Tiger had grossed a humongous 32.92 Crores on it's Day 1 and it's total box office collections till date stands at 48.92 Crores," reports Koimoi.com.

"The fall was quite expected as Thursday was a working day and never a vacation unlike Wednesday. However, the movie is predicted to hit the chords again this weekend. There's no doubt that Ek Tha Tiger will prove to be an all time blockbuster on the box office if it sustains its momentum even for a weekend," adds the website.

No entry for Tiger in Pak
Apparently, post the backward and forward bearing on the discharge of the film in Pakistan, it's now learnt that Ek Tha Tiger is not going to hit the theatres there.

This comes after initial reports that of the film being banned in Pakistan at the grounds of its theme being anti-Pakistan, but recently an NOC was granted for Ek Tha Tiger to be screened for the censor board members there. However, now it seems that ETT did not convince Pakistani board members of the benevolent treatment in their country within the film.

With Eid just across the corner, this setback could prove costly putting a dent to the gross choice of the film.
