Director Shirish Kunder’s Joker is filled with visual effects, what with aliens and UFOs being integral to the plot. The director is now cutting a fresh trailer of his forthcoming film to offer a taste of those heavy-duty VFX to the audience, and has even roped in international technicians. “I am
currently creating a second trailer of Joker so one can be laden with visual effects and plenty of more things that we haven’t disclosed so far,” admits Shirish.
The trailer-in-making will apparently feature the much mentioned UFO and aliens from the film. The makers have hired around 30 ace international technicians to chop this trailer, in order to be aired per week before the film’s release. “Some very highly-qualified technicians are engaged on this visually attractive trailer. Prime Focus may be working with me they usually have branches in The big apple and London. Technicians from those centres are ensuring this trailer is of international standards,” says Shirish.
Ask Shirish what drove him to take this initiative and he says, “The idea was to do something different and woo audiences, like what now we have been doing to advertise the film so far.”
Jointly produced by Shirish and Farah Khan’s Three’s Company, actor Akshay Kumar’s Hari Om Productions and UTV Motion Pictures, the sci-fi drama starring Akshay and Sonakshi Sinha is about against the backdrop of a fictitious small town called Paglapur, where a UFO had landed years ago. Joker is about to hit theatres on August 31.
