Sonakshi Sinha have been portrayed because the quintessential small town girl in her previous movies, Dabangg and Rowdy Rathore. If this news is true, then Sonakshi Sinha’s sartorial sensibilities would have costed her a movie. As reported by Mid Day, the excitement is that Sonakshi have been dropped
from Ekta Kapoor’s film Milan Talkies. The reason is extrapolated is that the actress refused to let go of her Indian avatar for her character within the film.
A source told Mid Day, “Sona was said to be cast opposite Imran Khan. However, she was dropped because she was not comfortable to get out of her Indian look.” Tarun Garg, CEO of Ekta’s production house however maintains, “The female lead for the film was never finalised. In truth except for Imran, the casting continues to be in progress. The film will start early next year.”
Sonakshi Sinha may be seen next in Shirish Kunder's Joker, opposite Akshay Kumar.
