Kat, on her part, confirms the news, saying, "I'm happy that my mom is so all for( education and charity). Now, she's building a faculty because the children (from the orphanage) are growing up. She's bought a property just about Mercy Home. Hopefully, Being Human can assist fund the varsity for us," she says.
Since its inception, Katrina has gone all out to endorse her mother's orphanage. Within the past, she had auctioned her movie memorabilia and costumes, and passed at the proceeds to the organisation. She had also collaborated with AR Rahman for an album of nursery rhymes to boost funds for the project. "Although she is busy with back-to-back films, Katrina makes certain to check at the progress at Mercy Home. Her mother also keeps her updated in regards to the charitable activities," adds the source.
